**About the Role**

We are currently seeking a pharmacy technician to work alongside our Senior Purchasing Technician to support the day-to-day functions of the Purchasing office including ordering, receipt, and inventory control of pharmaceuticals. It will also work alongside our Senior Pyxis Technicians to support the management of Pyxis technology to the Pharmacy department and designated clinical areas.

**About the Team/Service Location**

The pharmacy team is well respected by clinicians, nursing staff, and senior management across the organisation, and is constantly looking at ways to improve the service and care it delivers. We provide a comprehensive pharmacy service throughout to the Capital Coast and Hutt Valley District, which includes a clinical service, dispensary & logistics service, and a quality & risk service. There is also an aseptic production service at Capital & Coast Hospitals (Wellington & Kenepuru). Through these services, we aim to improve the quality and effectiveness of prescribing, supply and distribution of medicines throughout the Capital Coast and Hutt Valley District. Our teams value professional growth and emphasizes clinical development and medicines optimization for our patients.
