**About this role**:
This is a unique opportunity for an Intermediate to Senior Architectural Designer to join a company that is much more than a building firm and is leading New Zealand as the one-stop consultancy for building beautiful, architecturally designed homes across New Zealand.

Responsibilities in this role will include meeting with the client, establishing the design brief, developing design concepts in consultation with the client, considering materials and costs according to set budgets in collaboration with the in-house Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors, producing colour boards for presentation to clients and preparing detailed working drawings using Revit.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Producing conceptual design drawings in line with the clients’ brief
- Ensuring compliance to relevant codes and standards
- Interpretation of technical specifications, tender documents and building drawings in conjunction with sales
- Provide procurement specifications to the QS team
- Compile building consent documentation

**To be considered you will**:

- Be an experienced designer/draughtsman/architect who is looking for a step up role
- Have a flair for beautiful and functional design
- Have a sound knowledge and understanding of NZ Building Codes and Regulations
- Prior conceptual design experience for terraced housing preferred
- Possess a high level of proficiency in Excel, Autocad and Revit
- Be a great communicator across all parts of a business
- Pride yourself on attention to detail
- Handle pressure in a calm and measured way
