Based in Mount Wellington, Auckland, we are seeking an Accounts Receivable professional to join our dynamic team.

About the role

This is a full-time role, working in a team of six in Auckland. Reporting into the NZ Commerical Finance Manager, as part of the ANZ Finance Team, this role has a wide variety of tasks and reporting duties both locally and to HQ based in Switzerland. Ideally you will have a strong Accounts /accounts receivable background preferably having worked in manufacturing/tech/supply chain industries which have a high volume of transactions per month). This role will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collections and maintaining strong client relationships.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing the accounts receivable function, including invoicing, collections, and credit control
  • Liaising with customers to resolve billing inquiries and follow up on outstanding payments
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in the accounting system
  • Preparing regular reporting on accounts receivable aged balances and cash flow
  • Collaborating with the finance team to ensure timely cash flow and improve working capital
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the accounts receivable function

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of high volume accounts receivable or credit control experience, preferably in a similar industry
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively liaise with customers
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices in accounts receivable management
