Your core responsibilities will include leading government accountability processes, such as development of the Estimates, Annual Review and non-financial performance information, to ensure the LSE group continues to produce high quality accountability products. You may also lead a range of business management practices for the Group, such as risk management, business continuity, business planning and business improvement projects.
You may currently be in a policy, operations or corporate area, perhaps as an Advisor and are ready to take the next step, or currently in a Senior Business Advisor role and looking to expand your experience.

- At least 5 years’ experience working in the public sector, preferably in a planning, reporting, governance or ministerial servicing role
- A good understanding of the processes that underpin the operations of the public sector environment, such as Cabinet and parliamentary processes, portfolio / appropriation and budget development, management and reporting, and development of accountability products (Estimates, Annual Review, non-financial information etc)
- Experience contributing to or leading business management processes such as risk management, business continuity, induction, contract management and/or managing business improvement projects
- Ability to quickly assimilate new information and come to an understanding of unfamiliar and complex issues.
- Understanding of the functions and workings of Ministers’ Offices.
