Prepare and project manage operational consenting related matters for the Macraes Operation. This includes consultant management, document preparation, review, stakeholder engagement and consultation.
The role also entails assisting the Environment and Social Performance team with other matters that arise including consent interpretation, implementation, compliance, water quality management, closure planning, regulatory processes, consultation / community engagement, and peer review.
**Responsibilities**:
- Carry out administrative functions (write and review reports, attend meetings, document actions, update systems, disseminate information, complete purchase and service orders)
- Assist in the preparation of an annual plan of actions and timelines to support annual work programmes.
- Develop and scope budgets for consent programmes for sign off and approval.
- Support the preparation and review of management plans in conjunction with the relevant departments to support consent and legal compliance.
- Capture relevant data into the InForm database and take responsibility for:
- Reviewing imported data and resolve importation issues
- Reviewing of data for compliance issues
- Identify and implement Environmental improvements.
- Participate in internal and external auditing
- Keep ahead of changing legislation and liaise across the business to support understanding of any implications and enable planning to support submissions and/or adaptation
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of a tertiary qualification in Planning, Environmental Sciences, Resource Management or similar.
- Full and current Driver Licence.
- A minimum of 4 years cumulative post graduate experience in a consenting / regulatory environment.
- Environmental monitoring and reporting
