Senior Civil Engineer

Our busy and growing team in Central Wellington is currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with experience in wastewater, stormwater and/or potable water systems, pipeline engineering and project management to support us on current and upcoming projects.
As our new Senior Civil Engineer, you will join an innovative and motivated team of engineers, preparing concept and detailed civil engineering designs, producing technical and commercial specifications, drawings, and schedules, contract management and carrying out construction monitoring and working in close partnership with our clients and contractors. You will require experience in the civil design of three waters reticulation, and have a working understanding of hydraulics.
This role will be pivotal in further developing our existing relationships with local clients. It's a fantastic opportunity to further develop your technical and management skills through your project work, with great prospects for career progression as the business continues to grow. You will also be able to use your skills and experience to mentor more junior members of the team.
- Tertiary qualified in Civil Engineering
- Strong water industry experience in one or more of potable water, storm and waste-water
- Experience of working in multidisciplinary teams
- Experience of managing clients and other project stakeholders
- Leading and mentoring junior engineers
- Experience in hydraulic pipeline design software
- Experience in 3D modelling design software
