**The Role**

**Our hotel is experiencing high demand, so to support our operational teams deliver exceptional service that **_ensures our guests make the most of their day,_** we are recruiting for Housekeeping Supervisors to join our team.**

Wage scale for this role is $27.00-$28.00 per hour dependent on experience. The role will be based at Sudima Queenstown Five Mile, Frankton

**About You | Ko Koe Tēnei**

**We are looking for applicants with a demonstrated experience leading a Housekeeping team, and good understanding of hotel service standards along with a growth mindset and willingness to develop yourself and your team. At Sudima Hotels we embrace innovation and technology so being comfortable with technology would be a plus as well as living and breathing our company values.**

**Applicants should have **1 years minimum previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor in a 4 star property.**

**Duties include but not limited to**:

- Allocating daily duties of Room Attendants, Public Area Cleaners and Houseperson
- Supervision and training of staff
- Assist with cost control and ordering of supplies
- Checking rooms after they have been serviced and ensuring all rooms are clean to the highest of standards prior to guest arrivals
- Maintaining productivity levels
- Maintain effective communication with other departments
- Compliance with hotel’s policies and procedures

**Requirements**:
Most importantly you will have a great attitude, as well as proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor in a large hotel.

- Good communication skills and level of English - verbal as well as written
- Advanced computer skills
- Desire to learn and grow your hospitality career
- Experience in leading a team and working to tight deadlines
- Willing to go the extra mile for our guests to ensure they make the most of their stay
- Able to work flexible roster over 7 days including some public holidays
- Ability to meet high-performance standards, and coach and train our team to reach these standards as well
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products
- All roles require entitlement to legally work in NZ & ability to pass a police and reference check
