We are looking for **results-oriented** hands-on Line Leader to manage our production lines. We have 2 roles open - one for AM and one for PM. You will be setting up the production line, overseeing and directing assembly line workers, ensuring all steps in the process are completed **right first time**, ensuring that production orders are completed on time and within budget, and directing shutdown and hygienic cleaning activities.

To ensure success as a line leader, you should exhibit extensive knowledge of production processes and experience in a similar industry. **A top-notch line leader will be someone whose production line expertise results in production targets being met without compromising on quality.**

You will get your full 40 hrs over 4 days Tuesday to Friday so you get a 3 day weekend every week With extra hours also available

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Responsibilities include:

- Preparing work schedules/rosters, plugging any staffing gaps, and assigning workers production line tasks.
- Ensuring that production goals are met by monitoring equipment performance and employee output.
- Supervising a team of workers to ensure they are performing their duties efficiently.
- Managing employee performance and addressing issues such as absenteeism or employee injuries.
- Contributing to process improvement efforts by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions.
- Coordinating with engineering team to ensure that production equipment is operating efficiently and effectively.
- Optimizing production line efficiency by closely monitoring productivity, quality and operator output in real-time.
- Identifying and resolving production line problems quickly as is required in continous manufacturing.
- Performing recordkeeping tasks, including quality checks, production records and inventory counts.
- Performing production line tasks on the floor.
- Performing and directing shutdown and hygienic cleaning tasks.
- Training and supervising new production line workers, and bringing them quickly up-to-speed on company policies and procedures for safety, quality control, productivity and communication/reporting.
- Ensuring that all materials are available for production through inventory management of raw materials and finished goods.
- Maintaining a fully operational, safe, clean and tidy work environment.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Maintain a tight line of communication with all teams.
- Ability to be a leader and have those hard conversations quickly.
