OVERALL OBJECTIVE

To provide Cleaning & Maintenance services in a safe and professional manner.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES

Summary: Carries out Cleaning and Maintenance of property surfaces & structures, fixtures and fittings by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may also be assigned):

- Clean sections of surfaces to determine the strength of cleaning agents needed to prepare desired surface finish.
- Positions ladders, assembles metal scaffolding or operates mechanical Elevated Work Platforms to facilitate cleaning of structures in a safe and professional manner.
- Uses Heights Safety Equipment in a safe and professional manner.
- Pours specified portions and types of cleaning agents into hoppers or tanks of truck or trailer mounted pumping equipment and starts pump or equipment to produce correct pressure to pump cleaning agents through hoses.
- Uses wands and adjusts or changes spray nozzles to regulate the flow of cleaning agent over structure/fixture/fittings surface.
- Cleans all exterior surfaces including houses/buildings, garages, sleep outs, fences, paths, pavers, brickwork, retaining walls, pagodas, solar panels and other exterior surfaces as detailed on Work Orders in Servicem8.
- Cleans excessively leaky areas, especially around doors, with house broom and low water pressure.
- Cleans excessively stained surface areas with brushes and cleaning compounds.
- Cleans exterior windows and surrounding surfaces.
- Cleans windows, windowsills, window channels. Opens windows and cleans window frames.
- Cleans around sensors, alarms, electrics, light fittings with a cloth where necessary.
- Refrains from spraying water or cleaning compounds near these areas.
- Brushes cobwebs from windows and window frames where necessary.
- Replaces worn parts of cleaning equipment if required and maintains equipment.
- Carries portable cleaning equipment to job sites where vehicle access is not available.
- Maintains Work Vehicle in a tidy condition inside and outside.
- Drives Vehicles to and from work sites in a safe manner.
- Completes a 5-minute vehicle check every morning on the vehicle allocated.
- Fills in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) form prior to every job.
- Fills in all required Servicem8 forms prior to every job.
- Takes photos and videos after the work has been completed and uploads them to the Work order in Servicem8, where customer provides permission.
- Uses work phone and/or Servicem8 to communicate with customers regarding lateness, any damage to property, or any other necessary communication.
- Always reports any damage to customers property immediately to Office Staff, Supervisor and Operations Manager by phone.
- Drops Chemwash cards into letterboxes as and when required.
- Washes uniform each week and hangs up
- Washes ropes, webbing, safety harnesses and other heights safety equipment with fresh, clean water immediately after use.
- Hangs up all ropes, webbing, harnesses and other heights safety equipment to dry in the back workshop at the end of the day.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and in a safe and professional manner.

Education and/or Experience: None necessary as training will be given; however previous experience is an advantage.

Language Skills: Polite respectful language at all times especially when dealing with customers and staff.

Code of Conduct: The Employee agrees to adhere to the Company's Code of Conduct at all times, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and respect in all public and staff interactions and complying with all applicable policies, procedures, and legal obligations.

Computer Skills: Gmail, Servicem8, Excel, Word, Iphone or Android, Ipad

Other Skills and Abilities: Mechanical, Camera and Video

Other Qualifications: Full Clean Current Drivers License required; Basic Heights Certificate preferred, Basic First Aid preferred, Urban Pest Control Handler License an advantage.

Physical Demands: The physical demands of this job require a good level of fitness that must be met by the Employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Work Environment: Residential and Commercial properties as directed by the Employer.

Additional Tasks Required of The Position: Travel outside the Greater Wellington region for periods of 2-4 weeks at a time.

Must be in correct uniform and/or PPE required for tasks. Must be well-presented and well-groomed.
