Experienced Exterior Plasterers-Immediate start

We are a small, growing company operating in the Wellington region looking for committed experienced plasterers who want to build a career in the civil construction industry.

  • Clean Police records and ability to pass the drug test.

  • Full driver's licence & own reliable transport.

  • Good communication skills and presentable appearance.

  • Two contactable references with your application.

  • Must be able to follow instructions

Experienced External Plasterer - Skills and responsibilities:

Skills and requirements:

  • Fully qualified or with minimum 2.5 years' experience in commercial or residential construction.

  • Willingness to train new people

  • Flexibility & ability to work extra hours when required

  • Clean police records and ability to pass the drug test

  • Full Driver's License & reliable transport

  • Be confident working autonomously, and Health & Safety conscious

  • Good communication skills and presentable appearance

  • Strong work ethic and a positive can-do attitude

Responsibilities:

  • Measuring, marking, cutting, and positioning AAC panels and polystyrene sheets.

  • Installing flashings.

  • Measuring, cutting, and installing corner beads,

  • Applying sealant and silicone in different substrates.

  • Using trowels or a pump machine to apply coats of plaster.

  • Levelling base coat

  • Floating top coat

  • Sanding and painting the finishing coat.
