**Research Nurse for Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Starship Child Health**

- Permanent, full time position (option of part-time FTE)

**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

The PICU Research nurse needs to be adaptable to change and flexible with their working hours. Predominantly a Monday to Friday position there is an on-call component some weekends where you may be required to undertake screening and recruitment in PICU.

The PICU research nurse position requires proficient attention to detail and organisational skills for the role

**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**
- Be a registered nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
- Have a personal commitment to on-going learning and development
- Have knowledge of quality improvement processes and principles
- Have previous experience with PowerPoint, Word, Excel and database entry

Desired skills:

- Familiarity with research methodology
- Have a post graduate qualification
- Proficient or Expert practitioner in the specific area
