**GROCERY ASSISTANT MANAGER**

New World Lincoln is looking for a motivated and capable Grocery Assistant Manager to support the Grocery Manager in the day-to-day operations of our busy Grocery Department. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll help drive team performance, maintain high merchandising standards, and ensure our customers enjoy a top-quality shopping experience every time.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in managing the daily operations of the Grocery Department
- Working closely alongside the team to ensure smooth and efficient workflows
- Help manage stock ordering, promotional planning, and inventory control
- Maintain high standards in merchandising, presentation, and product availability
- Assist with rostering and staff scheduling
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety standards
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and team members
- Participate in stocktakes and reporting using in-store systems
- Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge

**About You**
- Previous experience in a supermarket or FMCG environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Confident communicator with a positive, team-focused attitude
- Comfortable using computer systems and learning new programs
- Able to work a mixture of shifts including one weekend day
- Calm under pressure and solutions-focused
- Leadership experience
- Forklift licence and First Aid certificate a bonus
- Experience with SAP or similar systems
