**Shift Manager**
We are looking for 2 Shift Managers for our service station based in Whangarei.
**Job details**:
Number of vacancies - 2
Hours of work - Minimum 30 hours per week.
**Job responsibilities are as follows**:
- Provide excellent customer service to all customers by listening to and responding to their enquiries in a confident and professional manner.
- Greet customers as they enter and exit the store.
- Undertake daily customer service operations, e.g. sales processes, orders and payments.
- Operate cash registers, scanners, and point-of-sale (POS) systems/terminals.
- Oversee the work of subordinate staff.
- Keep records of expenditure and sales figures.
- Undertake and maintain stock inventory.
- Evaluate the supply and availability of stocks.
- Record and maintain financial information to prepare budget.
- Implement measures to avoid stock damages, theft, and wastage.
- Monitor and stock the products on shelves and refill as and when required.
- Make sure the product displays are appealing.
- Ensure the overall store appearance is attractive.
- Investigate market trends and input your ideas in developing policies for store.
- Address customers' requests, comments, and complaints.
- Help drive and improve client awareness with most recent store deals and promotions.
- Ensure that the checkout area is kept clean and organised.
**Role requirements**
- Relevant work experience and qualification preferred but not mandatory.
- Have positive attitude.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service experience.
**Salary**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Whangarei, Northland: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
