Reporting to the Head of Marketing, JUCY's In-House Designer is responsible for supporting the marketing team in the development of visual solutions to meet the needs of JUCY’s internal and external communication requirements. This position is also responsible for the creation of visual concepts along with the adaptation of existing artworks for JUCY’s collateral including print, brochures and digital in adherence with the JUCY Brand guidelines. If you have worked as an in-house designer before you will know that no two days are the same and that the role can vary considerably. We are looking for someone who understands that "Design" is not only about "Photoshop", but also about rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in while asking those difficult questions and stepping outside of your comfort zone. Our new Designer will preferably have a working knowledge of both online and offline creative assets for retail, e-commerce, and digital marketing channels as Instagram and Tik Tok are our customer’s best friends. **Design**: Provide day to day graphic design for both internal and external customers **Coordinate**: Full round administrative aspects of production, final design preparation and approvals **Review**: Recommend and review new design concepts that are in line with JUCY expectations **Setup**: Manage the signwriting process, from ordering materials to arranging laser where required **Support**: Support the JUCY brand where necessary to ensure consistency of the JUCY brand **What you’ll bring to the role**: - 2 years Graphic Design experience - Be an experienced user of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (PC) primarily InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator - Experience with motion graphics, video editing, interior design, 3D and other creative disciplines (nice to have but not essential) - Be a creative thinker, originality and a strong visual sense - Good spelling - attention to detail, writer and proficient copy editor - Be a great communicator, team player and relationship builder - Ability to work independently, seek out answers and follow through to complete tasks - Flexible, organised and professional - Motivated, committed and determined to set goals to achieve a positive outcome - Full Driver's license **At JUCY we offer**: - Opportunity to grow your career in Tourism - Great JUCY perks, such as 5 days free campervan hire and discounts at some of the other iconic NZ brands within the Polar Capital Group Our values at JUCY are Fun, Family, Pride and Passion and we live and breathe these values every day.
