**The Brief**:
The Team Leader will lead the delivery of projects for our Civil and Waters projects locally with the ability to expand and support the delivery nationally. The role will manage project performance, pipeline, profit and margin of the local service and team.

Vitruvius is currently engaged and leading multi-disciplinary projects of various scales of complexity for Tauranga City Council, Western Bay of Plenty District Council, KiwiRail, Waka Kotahi as well as Private Developers. These projects cover all stages of the project lifecycle from Business Case development through to Construction Monitoring.

The Team Leader is empowered and encouraged to build and foster client relationships and be responsible for representing Vitruvius as a leader of the organisation. They will ensure consistent, on-time, in full, and in-specification execution of project work to enable clients to meet their business expectations and KPIs by effectively leading and managing the Infrastructure team.

The role is required to build and manage a high-performing and engaged team of engineers, technicians, project management, and technical design & draughting for infrastructure (rail and road transportation and Three Waters). The role will also have oversight of quality, planning, progress reporting, work scheduling, and support of staff where required.

Above all the Team Leader Infrastructure will be a safety leader through implementation and adherence to safety plans HSE legislation, codes and practices.
- 8+ years of experience working in a complex environment
- Degree qualification in Civil Engineering (chartership or working towards chartership is highly advantageous)
- Experience leading and working within a project team
- Experience in influence and stakeholder management
- Experience as a successful leader
- Full drivers license
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
