We are on the hunt for someone to join us to assist in our Hamilton branch for a 3-month period. This will be to offer support through this busy period, enabling us to deliver for our customers. **About the role - Mō te tūranga** With an increase in freight, this role will be responsible to assist with the remeasure of our inbound freight, working 1pm to 930pm Monday to Friday in our Hamilton branch. You will work to remeasure freight, with training given to the right person to ensure the company can achieve their target delivery goals. To be successful in this role you will be safety obsessed, a team player and customer focused. Additionally you will; - Remeasure inbound palleted freight coming into the business - Ensure documentation accompanying freight is correct to weight - Actively participate in all safety processes and procedures **What will you bring? -**Ōu**Pūkenga?** To be successful in this role you will be physically fit, have excellent coordination skills and ideally have some experience working with scanners in a previous role. - Must have Full Class 1 Drivers License - Clean. - Must have Forklift License + OSH certificate. - Proactive, willing attitude - keen to learn - Prior experience in warehouse role and/or scanning preferrable - Ability to create good working relationships - Customer-focussed attitude with sound communication skills Ensuring we do our part to preserve Aotearoa’s environment, we are committed to stay on track with our carbon reduction goals for 2030.
