**The Role**

**Senior Salesforce Developer**

You will work in conjunction with the project Architect to build the technical solution for a client need. Depending on the nature of the project, you will be required to configure the solution within the Salesforce platform and/or perform custom development and may be called on to assist with activities like scoping and documentation. You are a self-driven individual with a “get it done” attitude and a passion to solve complex business and technology problems. You will translate User Stories into working solutions through building and delivering intelligent and robust custom solutions for Slalom clients. These solutions will leverage integration platforms where possible and extend the platform using custom code.

**What You Will Do?**
- Work with Engineers to scope, design, and build well-designed solutions
- Participate in technical design sessions and develop detailed technical solution documentation that is aligned with client business objectives
- Provide detailed estimates and work breakdown structure for assigned tasks
- Proven ability to develop and optimise integrated business processes across disparate systems
- Understanding of the Salesforce product suite
- Extensive development experience using customization tools as LWC, Aura, Apex, Async Apex, Integrations.
- Develop and maintain integration between Salesforce and other systems using APIs and ETL tools.
- Configuration experience using the Salesforce point-and-click development tools
- Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Jira, Rally or Agile Accel
- Conduct unit testing, code reviews, and participate in system testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Create and maintain technical documentation to support ongoing development and maintenance.

**What You'll Bring To Slalom?**
- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development.
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
- Experience with industry clouds such as FSC, E&U will be plus
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, data model, and sharing rules.
- Familiarity with continuous integration, automated testing, and agile methodologies.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Platform Developer II, Salesforce Domain Architect) are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Code Repository and DevOps tools.
