An opportunity has arisen for an energetic and friendly person to join our team, to assist with the day to day operation of our busy takeaway based in Havelock North, were passionate about providing quality service to our clients.

- Assisting in prepare, cook authentic Chinese cuisinedishes, ensuring that the highest possible quality is maintained
- Assisting in cut, wash, peel, and prepare ingredients for cooking.
- Adhere to all Collective health and safety procedures.
- Comply with individual site safety standards
- Gathering pots and pans when cooks need
- Maintaining kitchen operation records
- Restocking materials as required
- Maintaining a clean workspace
- Assisting cooks in preparing food and helping other team members when needed
- Participates in and/or contributes to programs, committees, or projects designed to improve quality of service and employee productivity.
- Control and minimize waste
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Must be reliable
- Training will be provided, so prior work or qualification is not required but would be an advantage
- Planning, problem-solving and teamwork
- Be fit and healthy
- Self motivated
- Eye for detail to achieve operational excellence

Working hours : 35hours five days per week (full time position)
