ACE MARINE LIMIITED is an Auckland based Chinese restaurant, trading as Fresh bite, due to business need, we are now looking for 4 Cooks assistant to join our busy Kitchen team.

This is a full time permeant position with guaranteed 40 hours work per week.

The main job responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Gathering food ingredients in preparation for cooking and serving
- Gathering pots and pans in preparation for cooking food ingredients
- Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking
- Keeping records of temperature, maintenance and any other records requested by chef to ensure food control plan is in place
- Weighing and measuring ingredients
- Washing, peeling, cutting, slicing and dicing ingredients for cooking and serving
- Cutting and grinding meat, poultry and seafood in preparation for cooking
- Cleaning work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes and silverware
- Storing food supplies, equipment, utensils, dishes and silverware in refrigerators, cupboards, pantries and other storage areas
- Monitor the presentation, productivity and quality of food products
- Monitor stock and inventory level, informing chef/cook when food supplies are low
- Comply with safety and hygiene regulations
- May need to train other cook trainee and apprentices when required

- Previous work experience is not mandatory but will be preferable
