The purpose of the Procurement Team Lead role is to ensure the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of all necessary materials and supplies required for dairy production

This role reports to the **Supply Chain Manager**- Create purchase orders for stock and services in accordance with company policies.
- Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, delivery schedules and resolve discrepancies
- Assist in maintaining an updated supplier list
- Track inventory levels and collaborate with warehouse staff to replenish stock.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing.
- Manage the creation of vendor accounts in collaboration with Accounts Payable
- Maintain product codes and costs in SAP
- Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Update internal stakeholders with supplier information including product ranges, delivery updates etc
- Support procurement strategies aligned with organisational goals
- Assist with reporting requirements.
- Assist with contract administration
- Liaise with suppliers & transport providers for all incoming shipments
- Perform any other reasonable duties as needed by the business

**Experience**
- Two (2) years’ experience as a purchasing/ material co-ordinator or a similar field
- SAP / S4 Hana experience will be an advantage

**Skills**
- Highly analytical, a strong attention to detail with good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in a procurement role, with a willingness to engage in other responsibilities when needed.
