**_About us/He kōrero mō mātou_**

The Wellington Medical & Health Sciences Library supports the staff and students of the University of Otago, Wellington and provides library services to the Capital & Coast District Health Board (CCDHB). One of nine University of Otago Libraries, Wellington Medical & Health Sciences Library is situated in Newtown near the Wellington Regional Hospital. The university also has office space in the Wellington CBD.

Our campus is home to undergraduate medical students, physiotherapy students and radiation therapy students. Our postgraduate health sciences students undertake a range of programmes to PhD level. Our student body is diverse with more than 20 nationalities represented.

The University of Otago, Wellington is a research-led campus for medical and health sciences. We are at the forefront of disseminating research evidence and clinical knowledge to our communities, policymakers, and government and non-government agencies. All the Campus’s academic departments are research active, and we host more than 20 well-established and highly regarded research groups.

**_The role/Te mahi_**

In this role, reporting to the Head of Reference Services, you will be part of a small team doing literature searches for CCDHB staff and UOW staff. You will also work with researchers and research groups to develop search strategies for high level literature reviews, answering a wide range of queries, undertaking individual consultations and library classes and helping develop online library guides.
