New Zealand Blood and Organ Service (NZBS) has sole responsibility for collecting, processing and distributing blood in New Zealand. Our specialist services also extend to Cell Therapy and Tissue banking, such as the provision of stem cell products along with cardiovascular, skin and bone allografts for transplantation. **About the Role**

This position is an opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Scientist to take a key role in implementing change across our growing technical portfolio in the Cellular Therapy and Tissue Banking team. You will draw from your scientific expertise and use an evidence-based and quality focused approach to effectively implement operational change. You will be responsible for analysing business processes and clearly documenting all aspects of the change to support our range of complex operational and technical projects.

You will work closely with NZBS project managers and the wider Technical Services team, effectively engaging with stakeholders within the organisation and external will be key.

**About you**

You are an experienced Scientist, looking for a career opportunity where you can integrate your scientific knowledge and experience to influence and lead the successful delivery of change in an operational setting.

You bring proven experience with implementing technical/business improvement projects from scoping through to operational delivery. You are a critical thinker with the ability to synthesise and integrate information and break complex processes down into clear requirements. You are highly organised and pay attention to the detail to ensure operational deployment is technically sound and compliant.

Strong written communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with experience influencing, communicating, facilitating, and managing the people side of change.
