Xero’s GTM Business Operations & Strategy team partners closely with Customer and Marketing leaderships team and other senior stakeholders across the company to lead critical strategic and operational initiatives.

**What you'll do**:
- Be a key contributor to the ongoing definition and evolution of our GTM Strategy, including evaluating the changing landscape in which Xero operates, identifying the most attractive opportunities and ensuring Xero is positioned to win in the future
- Help scope, structure and solve high impact business problems and execute on strategic projects, collaborating and coordinating with a range of internal stakeholders to develop recommendations on a wide range of business issues
- Be a trusted and respected member of the GTM Business Operations & Strategy team and a key contributor in other cross-functional teams that require strategic support to explore, evaluate, and recommend strategies
- Develop and support the communication of recommendations to senior management, other executive, functional, or regional management and staff in a clear, concise and impactful way
- Provide mentorship and direction to junior team members, building a collaborative and highly effective team
- Be flexible and nimble in your ability to support projects/areas of focus as required by the broader GTM team

**What you'll bring with you**:
- 5 - 8 years of experience in Strategy or Operational roles, likely from a consulting background
- MBA or relevant degree from top-tier institution
- Extensive experience engaging with stakeholders at all levels of seniority (including executive leadership teams)
- Experience running strategic projects and managing teams to deliver insightful recommendations that have been implemented and delivered true benefit to the business
- Demonstrated success in past roles helping teams develop, prioritise and execute choices that led to winning in their chosen domain
- Understanding of the SaaS and/or accounting and professional service industry, preferred
- Ability to lead projects and workstreams, and contribute to all areas of strategy formulation and execution
- Can quickly establish close working relationships with individuals across all levels
- Able to collaborate and coordinate with a range of internal stakeholders, building respect and trust to assist in the development and execution of strategic recommendations
- Ability to articulate thoughts and ideas in a clear and composed manner through written and verbal communications
