Job Duties
- General supervision of Orchard work
- A supervisor also ensures the maintenance of company tools and equipment and overall, ensures the work, health and safety of all workers on site
- Delegation of tasks to Orchard workers
- Administrative duties e.g timesheet management
- Conduct orchard inductions and tool box team meetings with workers and outline how tasks are to be carried out
- Ensure online documentation (induction forms) are complete within the set timeframe
- Coordinate workers through day to day activities
- Ensure training documents and SOP’s are complete within the set timeframe
- Monitor daily procedures to ensure that proper quality is maintained
- Handle onsite incidents and emergencies in a proactive manner
- Create and maintain positive working relationships with workers
- Ensure periodic maintenance and proper storage of relevant equipment and tools
- Ad-hoc
- Comply with Health and Safety regulations
- Fulfil other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested/required.
