Information and cyber security is one of the fastest growing areas of focus in both the private and public sector. Government has made additional investment in information and cyber security, and we're growing our team to respond.
This position manages relationships with nationally significant organisation owners in order to facilitate the delivery of cyber security services and guidance. The role is outward facing so you can safely tell people that you work for the GCSB.
It's all about relationship management - establishing, building and maintaining them. You need to build credibility quickly and stand your ground under pressure and this will be supported by your excellent negotiation and communication skills combined with your ability to authoritatively and tactfully represent viewpoints when engaging with customers.
While relationship management is key, we need you to have a keen interest in cyber security and a desire to learn even more. We are offering this opportunity to build upon your knowledge in the dynamic field of cyber security.

A Tertiary level qualification (Bachelor level) or equivalent work experience in Information Technology and/or Computer Science with an emphasis on cyber security is desirable.
This role is Wellington based, but we have a presence in Auckland, so there is some travel between the two locations as well as regionally.
