**Job Description**:
In this exciting new role of Workshop & Technical Product Manager, reporting to the Operations and Projects Manager, you will be an integral part of the career journey of Accessable’s Workshop and Field Service Technicians. The main focus of this role is to:

- To provide operational and technical leadership to the workshop team.
- Collaborate with suppliers to identify and customise training and technical resources which are relevant to the upskilling of our Workshop and Field Service Technicians.
- Co-ordinate internal and external training for our Workshop and Field Service Technicians to maximise their technical capability and capacity.

Working closely with the People Experience Manager, the Field Services and Workshop staff, you will promote and oversee learning initiatives; the evaluation and assessment of skills across the technical operational staff and be heavily involved with technical process improvement initiatives. With a Technical Trainer and two Workshop supervisors reporting directly to you, the focus will be on both learning and achieving key deliverables. Collaboration with suppliers is key to this role to help identify new products and understand their training requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum NZQA Level 6 trade-based qualification or relevant business qualification.
- A love of all things technical and a desire to grow and develop others.
- 5+ years senior management experience
- A strong understanding of training frameworks; resources; methodologies and evaluation
- Demonstrated experience lead teams; coaching, guiding, and mentoring.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong planning, analytical, organisational, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of people.
- IT savvy with strong Microsoft Office skills
- An uncompromising focus on quality management and health and safety
