Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
In this role you will develop and initiate improvement initiatives to include in the Costing & Modelling work programme and maintain cost models that support ongoing monitoring and review of charges. You will also undertake project management activities related to the team's projects.
The Cost Recovery Directorate has ongoing responsibility for supporting all of MPI's charging activities and providing expert advice on cost recovery matters across the range of MPI's functions.

You will have well-developed analytical skills, be results focussed, and possess a ‘can do' attitude. You will also be an effective communicator and work well with stakeholders.
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or relevant experience.
- Manage internal relationships while demonstrating excellence in execution.
- A can-do attitude with attention to detail and strong on successful delivery of projects and programmes of work.
- Experience in identifying cost effective solutions to business risks.
- Relevant experience in risk analysis and risk management.
- Well-developed analytical skills including 5+ years relevant experience.
- Skilled at transforming data into insights to inform decision making.
- Excellent verbal and written commuication skills.
