Your role as **Casual**Retail Manager** will give you a strong sense of purpose as you help connect the community with the care hospice provides. You’ll contribute to raising a third of Harbour Hospice’s annual funding needs and also enjoy:

- Extremely busy and varied days
- Supporting shop management to create a unique retail experience for all
- Working with volunteers and forging very special relationships

**Mō te tūnga | About the role**:
We’re looking for a **casual Retail Manager** to help as and when needed at any one of our 17 shops located from Devonport to Te Hana. You’ll provide cover and support at busy times and when our Managers or Assistant Managers are away.

Being a Casual Retail Manager is not a role for the faint hearted The role is physical, busy, and full on. Duties will include customer service and cash handling, receiving and sorting donations, merchandising and working closely with the team of awesome volunteers.

This is a casual role meaning hours will fluctuate and no hours are guaranteed. Flexibility is a must

You will have experience in retail but above all, we’re looking for people who live and breathe great customer service. You will also be:

- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
- Flexible and willing to lend a hand at whichever shop you’re most needed
- Able to take direction as well as use your own initiative
- Experienced in dealing effectively with customers from all walks of life
