Our company is looking for an Event Decorator. Our company plans and organise big events, weddings and on-going events.

The duties of this position are:

- Relevant experience of two years or a relevant qualification
- promoting conferences, conventions and shows to potential customers
- responding to inquiries concerning services provided and costs for room and equipment hire, catering and related services
- meeting with clients to discuss their needs and outlining package options to meet these needs
- arranging and coordinating services, such as conference facilities, wedding planning ,catering, signage, displays, audiovisual equipment, accommodation, transport and social events, for participants
- organising registration of participants
- negotiating the type and costs of services to be provided within budget
- overseeing work by contractors and reporting on variations to work orders
- Understanding the client's vision, style preferences, and budget for the event decor.
- Identifying and purchasing or renting necessary materials, props, and supplies, including lighting, furniture, linens, and floral arrangements.
- Staying within the allocated budget for event decor while ensuring high-quality results.
- Maintaining clear communication with clients, event planners, and other vendors involved in the event.
- Overseeing the setup and arrangement of decorations at the event venue, ensuring safety and compliance with venue regulations.
- Collaborating with vendors for floral arrangements, lighting, rentals, and other services needed for the event.
- Coordinating with all vendors, customers
- Managing logistics and event venues
- Strong communucation skills and creative thinking

Applicant must be able to work flexible working hours, including late nights, evenings, weekends and Public Holiday as the role requires. Salary range for the position is $30.00 to $32.00 depending upon experience.
