In these front-line roles at the Council, it's not just about customer service, it's about the customer experience. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, when they enter our facilities. Our centres are busy and high-pressure environments where no two days are the same. We now have a number of casual positions available for Customer Experience Representatives, to join our supportive and dedicated teams, across our facilities.

**Day to day duties include**:

- Welcoming customers with a friendly attitude.
- Assisting with customer enquiries: Answer questions, provide information about memberships and products.
- Processing transactions for retail and/or memberships
- Collaborating with colleagues and wider team: to ensure a smooth and efficient customer service experience.

As someone who has a genuine love for people and is solutions-focused - you'll deliver high-quality information and services to maximize our customer experience.

**About you**:

- Ideally, you will have gained your Customer Service experience from working in Retail and/or Hospitality, you will thrive in a busy and dynamic environment and be able to think on your feet
- Have excellent literacy and computer skills, as well as good verbal communication and time management
- Highly personable with a positive attitude
- Preferably hold a Current Workplace First Aid Certificate

**Locations & Hours**:
These are casual roles, filling shifts as and when required. They will predominantly be covering afternoon/evening and weekend shifts, so availability over these times is important.
- Pioneer Recreation & Sport Centre, 75 Lyttelton Street
- Jellie Park Recreation and Sports Centre, 295 Ilam Road
- Graham Condon Recreation and Sport Centre, 3 Sisson Drive
- Te Pou Toetoe: Linwood Pool, 141 Smith Street
- Taiora: QEII Recreation and Sport Centre, 193 Travis Road

**Additional information**:

- Salary: $26 - $27.44 per hour.
