We are currently recruiting for a Senior Data Engineer to join the Foodies team

In this role you’ll use latest development tools, architectural patterns, software, techniques and paradigms to build scalable and high-performing solutions, developing Data Stewardship / Governance solutions that is at the core of our business.

You will be part of a future focused Data & Analytics team (DnA) responsible for solving business challenges through data and analytics and realising the potential for data and analytics as a strategic enabler across our business.

Some of your daily responsibilities will include:

- Design, develop, maintain and implement solutions that meet approved FSNI standards and specifications in a timely manner
- Collaborate on innovative solutions in the areas of Data Governance and data provisioning to support both the productive & future DnA initiatives
- Managing the full life cycle of the FSNI Enterprise Data Platform development and enablement of flexible reusable data assets for self service
- Provide architectural and technical inputs for reviewing for all initiatives regarding Data platform, self service, integration, ETL and governance.

Other key skills, attributes, and experience include:

- Hands-on experience with the Cloud based Data platforms and data solutions
- Proven capabilities of data analysis, data integration, data modelling and data visualisation.
- Proven strong technical, functional and process knowledge
- Proven capabilities of solution life cycle management
- Expert knowledge of SQL, Python language, Cloud Data platforms, and relational databases
- Firm understanding of other programming/scripting languages and methodologies of data transforming deal with multiple formats of data
- Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- Extensive Experience with data warehouse solutions. Snowflake or Google Cloud Platform and or SAP BW HANA will be an added bonus.
