Operations are at the heart of our business, ensuring the lights are kept on. The team is responsible for establishing systems and processes so incredibly seamless, that Beam users are ensured unrivalled efficiency, safety, and top-notch service.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Drive forward Beam’s operations across multiple operational verticals, including charging infrastructure, fleet management, and warehouse / supply chain management
- Support the Warehouse Operations:

- Ensuring that the battery charging capacity copes with the demand
- Establish a smooth inflow/outflow process of vehicles from the workshop to deployments
- Coordinate the workshop priorities and engage with vehicles repairs as needed
- Identify key operational metrics and manage a tight ship
- Innovate constantly on existing processes and products
- Coordinate a team of dozens of Scooter Marshals/Rangers who support the operations
- Provide customer service support

**Requirements**:

- Have the right to work in New Zealand and are currently located in New Zealand
- Experience in transport / logistics is not necessary, but a willingness to learn and get into the weeds of the business is critical
- Proactive, with a hands-on attitude - you’ll be doing physical work as required (driving and repair in the warehouse). Previous mechanical/warehousing experience is a bonus.
- Trade qualification or Bachelor Degree is desired.
- Experience with people management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for solving problems and delivering a great customer experience
- Full NZ Class 1 Driver’s License
- Highly analytical and creative problem solver, product driven mindset
- Self starter - you’ll get broad exposure to all aspects of the business and this is a great position to fast track your startup career
- Strong Excel skills / SQL knowledge a bonus
