Branch Supervisor

My client is a dynamic, global business in the building and construction products sector, servicing trade customers with a superior range of specialist products. I am seeking a Branch Supervisor to manage a dedicated account branch that services specific key clients and accounts. The branch isn't open to public or trade customers.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will ensure that products are distributed to clients in a timely manager while maintaining a strong customer-focused approach.

This is a critical role for the business and a great opportunity for someone with experience in trade wholesale and supply.

About the role:

• Oversee day-to-day store operations to ensure timely order delivery and excellent customer service.
• Participate in planning, developing, and establishing local site operations plans with performance targets.
• Inventory management, supervise the receipt, storage, and delivery of materials and equipment.
• Monitor and improve store procedures and practices to maximize efficiency.
• Manage stock movement, storage, coding, and inventory control systems.
• Ensure a safe and healthy working environment, complying with health and safety policies.
• Review daily reports, data entry, and invoicing to maintain accuracy and minimise errors.
• You will work closely with internal teams, including site members and inventory controllers, as well as external stakeholders such as project managers, depot supervisors, and key suppliers.

About you:

• You have proven supervisory experience within a warehouse or distribution environment
• Trade or electrical supply experience would be advantageous.
• You have proven account management experience, confident and able to build and maintain relationships with suppliers
• You have a customer-focused mindset with the ability to maintain high service standards.
• You have excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Knowledge of stock management systems and operational procedures is essential
• You're committed to health and safety and promoting a culture of safety-first practices.
• You're proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, (spreadsheets, stock forecasting and email communication).

Benefits:

The role is Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm, and offers a competitive salary. There is an on-call roster which will be discussed in further detail upon application.
