**The Role**

Christchurch-based and reporting to the head of the service department, we are looking for a Systems Engineer with technical expertise to support our Senior Engineers and SME clients. The role will work collaboratively with our talented bunch of engineers to support the systems and infrastructure of our clients along with providing technical assistance and expertise. We are seeking someone who embraces Computer Culture's philosophy that our people can truly and effectively engage with internal and external clients by providing quality solutions to meet their needs.

**Skills and Experience**

This broad and varied role requires a skilled Level 2 Systems Engineer with a natural talent for establishing effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. A key element of this role is to identify and understand IT requirements and problem-solve to deliver effective solutions. You will have a proven ability to build trust and work confidently with relevant internal teams and clients in an open, collaborative manner.

You will have MSP experience and excellent troubleshooting skills with a security-first approach to design and implementation. You will be proficient with the following; TCP/IP networking stack including wireless, Microsoft 365 management including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Windows Desktop and Server Administration.

You will have the ability to analyse problems and make robust, timely decisions based on objectives, risks, implications, and budgets. Additionally, you will have no problem rolling up your sleeves and helping where needed in a busy service delivery consultancy environment.

A relevant tertiary qualification or related discipline and industry experience and knowledge are imperative. To be considered for this opportunity you must have NZ working rights.
