Principal Advisor, Christchurch Justice & Emergency Services Precinct

This is a unique role within a unique building. As Principal Advisor, you will work collaboratively within the Commercial and Property team to provide specialist advice to Precinct stakeholders in a fastpaced environment. You will use your skills and experience to provide technology and business continuity leadership and direction to enhance the service-delivery of the Precinct ManagementTeam.You will look for ways to add value through sustainable practices and seek out opportunities to innovate through technology to improve the operational performance of the building.Most importantly we are looking for a Principal Advisor who supports a culture that focuses on the customer, continuous improvement initiatives, and service-delivery. A key focus of the role is to support the development of the Precinct business continuity and emergency management procedures in conjunction with senior stakeholders. The success of which relies on a strong ability to develop and maintain effective relationships.

He pūkenga tou/Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will have the following experience, skills, and attributes: - Understand and appreciate cultural issues and concerns, in particular Tikanga Māori. Understand public-sector systems and processes, including the use of performance information to inform decision-making. Leadership and oversight of relevant legislation and business requirements relating to property management, building standards, and business support. Extensive experience in outcomes-based business management solutions that deliver results. Analyse complex data and information to enhance decision-making. Work closely with stakeholders on complex issues including ministerial and OIA responses. Sound understanding of All of Government contract management principles and offering

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $124,397 and $173,973 based on skills and experience.
