**About the role**:
We are on the hunt for an ambitious and energetic Senior Account Director who is keen to work across some exciting global and Kiwi accounts at one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s fastest growing PR agencies.

Bringing a minimum of 8 years of agency experience to the role, you will need to be able to hit the ground running and bring an enthusiastic, can-do, results-focused attitude to the team. You will need to know the New Zealand media inside out and have your finger on the pulse of what’s happening in social media.
- Manage the day-to-day client work of MSL NZ with the support and guidance of the General Manager and wider team
- Ensure excellent client results are achieved efficiently, for the mutual benefit of both the client and MSL
- Financial responsibility for the profitability of your key clients
- Provide financial, strategic and technical input to ensure profitability is maintained across the business
- Ensure solid administrative practices are applied across the business to safeguard the effective management of client work
- Support the GM on the growth of the agency, including participating in new business pitches that are highly collaborative and competitive
- Creation and presentation of key client strategic deliverables including communications strategies, creative plans and media strategies
- Implementation of client work including media liaison, securing interviews, preparing client briefings, writing media content, crisis management, stakeholder management, influencer liaison and talent management.
- Creation of systems and administrative tools to assist with the smooth running of the accounts and business more broadly
- Help drive new and organic revenue growth opportunities
- Help build MSL agency and individuals’ profile in market.

**Qualifications**:
**About you**:

- Experience in Corporate Communications - ideally with experience in sustainability & DE&I
- Strategic expertise: developing integrated communication strategy with a creative flair and brave approach across corporate and consumer disciplines, including media partnerships and influencer strategy targeting multiple audiences
- High level of financial acumen
- New business growth - can manage a pitch process like an expert and identify and seek out new business leads
- Ability to inspire and lead a team, brings the sunshine and contribute to a positive and happy team culture
- It would be excellent to understand if you have cultural communications experience including Te ao Māori and Pasifika.
