Our client builds stunning new retirement villages for independent, active retirees looking for a community, interaction and support.
With a new complex in Rotorua almost ready for new residents, they need a Village Manager to oversee the residents’ transition, providing a welcoming and supportive environment. Keen to start someone asap.
**Ideal for someone local, or happy to commute the 40 mins (approx) from Tauranga. Some relocation also available from further afield.**
With your key focus to ensure residents experience a positive experience -not only as they move in, but on an ongoing basis;
- you will be a people person first & foremost.
**Overseeing financial reporting and data, building compliance and any maintenance issues, Health & Safety, relationships with your Resident Coordinator, Assistant Village Manager, Sales team and internal/external stakeholders,** you will still have time for the little old lady who pops in for a chat, or someone who needs help with that bothersome light switch.
Whilst there is not a large team of staff, your previous experience managing people will come in handy here.
**Ideally you will have a background in hospitality management, retirement village management, real estate, office management or similar
- where you are used to management responsibilities and stakeholder engagemen**t.
**This is a Mon - Friday role** and the only oncall you would have would be in severe emergency (eg: fire).
Bring your combination of management experience and excellent interpersonal skills to this role and enjoy being in on the ground floor, as new residents make your village their new home.
Salary $90-95K (some negotiation may be available?).
