About the Hiring Team

Lightspeed Tech Center is a R&D department under Lightspeed Studios which develop PUBG Mobile and other high-quality games. Our Tech Center leads the research, exploration, and discovery of innovative technologies and provides technical services for all games during all phases of life cycle, including engine, audio, QA, AI, next generation game, technical cooperation, etc.

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Game Engine Programmer Intern to help us on diverse, ranging in level and discipline of 3D engine technology.

Position Overview

As a Game Engine Programmer Intern at LightSpeed Studios, Tencent, you will work closely with our world-class game development teams to create cutting edge technologies that enhance performance and streamlined toolset. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and gain hands-on experience in an industry-leading company, learn the skills needed to begin career in gaming and interactive 3D.

Responsibilities- Fixing bugs and solving technical issues.- Collaborate with game content creators and developers to work features on Tools, Rendering, Animation, Physics, gameplay or data science.-
- Develop and optimize physics systems

Who We Look For- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Math, or Physics-
- Proficiency in C++, other relevant programming languages is plus- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team- A passion for video games and a desire to create unforgettable player experiences
