Discover Waitomo is looking for a dynamic and dedicated Glowworm Cave Services Manager to join our team and ensure the operational success of our iconic Glowworm Caves.

**About the Role**:
As the Glowworm Cave Services Manager, you will:

- Provide maintenance support for the Glowworm Caves under the direction of the Facilities and Infrastructure Manager.
- Manage and improve infrastructure and maintenance practices to enhance the customer experience.
- Lead the Glowworm Cave cleaning team, ensuring best practices and world-class standards.
- Ensure our sites are well-maintained, resolving maintenance issues cost-effectively, safely, and promptly.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and conduct building maintenance with relevant contractors.
- Lead a small team of Service Technicians.
- Lead the cleaning team and manage relationships with suppliers and third parties.
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting and landscaping.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Manage site waste and recycling.
- Supervise contractors as needed.
- Undertake other duties as directed by the Facilities and Infrastructure Manager.

- Significant maintenance experience in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Understanding and experience working in a bicultural environment.
- A lateral thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience leading a small team is highly desirable.
- Excellent time management skills.
- An active contributor to the team environment.
