**What will you be doing?**

At Tower, we are **progressing boldly** to align with future insurance trends. Tower is disrupting the insurance landscape in NZ and the Pacific through Digital and Data. We have laser focus on driving hard and fast, and Pricing is at the heart of all actions. We're now hiring for someone to be part of that journey

You can expect to be across the following:

- Being the trusted advisor on pricing enquiries, system pricing processes and providing pricing insights to various stakeholders within the business.
- Contribute to the end-to-end process of pricing innovations from engaging with business through to delivery.
- Contribute to the development of pricing models, pricing insights, competitive and market analysis.
- Contribute to the development, optimisation, and maintenance of Tower's pricing algorithms and rating engines.
- Contribute to working in squads to deliver enterprise-wide initiatives with Agile approach.
- Contribute to pricing showcases, cross-team trainings and best practices etc.

**What you'll need**

**To be successful in this role, you will also be able to demonstrate the following**:

- A minimum of 1-2 years in a structured Pricing/Actuarial Analyst role
- Prerequisite: Relevant tertiary qualification
- Desired: Tertiary qualification in either Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering or Mathematics. Well versed in R (or Python).
- Geospatial skills (QGIS etc.) are a plus.
- Exceptional analytical/data analysis skills
- Strong communication and well-developed relationship management skills
- Good organisational skills/ability to prioritise to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Self-motivated, action and results oriented with a real desire to get things done.
