**About the role**
Reporting to our Sales Manager the Menswear Manager will provide critical leadership to the Menswear Group to ensure a consistently excellent experience for our customers day in, day out. The Menswear Group consists of approximately 20 staff working in Men’s clothing and shoes.
The key responsibilities of the role are to:
- Ensure the department is always appropriately staffed
- Resolve day to day queries from staff and customers
- Motivate and inspire your team
- Train and coach team members
- Achieve KPIs
- Undertake Recruitment tasks
- Proactively deal with any people management concerns and processes
- Drive customer excellence.
This full time position is working Tuesday-Saturday and is supported by a Supervisor.
- Extensive experience working in a retail /customer service environment is essential
- Experience in leading and motivating teams
- Experience in effective people management
- Ability to drive sales and achieve KPIs
- Competent PC user including Excel
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
- Strong time management skills and able to prioritise effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Sound decision making skills
