We are looking for an exceptional Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team on a fixed term basis. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this role is responsible for setting & ensuring delivery of the short and long term segment growth strategies to drive sales and profit for Mars. As a key member of the Marketing Leadership team, this role is responsible to contribute to continuous improvement for marketing’s key areas of responsibility. This role also holds responsibility as a segment lead to drive efficient, sustainable growth for the portfolio.

**What would be your key responsibilities?**
- Supporting and developing 3 direct reports
- Lead development of the segment strategy, to meet local growth ambitions
- Lead local headroom analysis for portfolio to define 5-year strategy
- Uses Nielsen and relevant consumer insights (homescan, qual, quant consumer research) information to analyse priority battles
- Develops and implements consumer communication strategy for agreed brands, including creative & media strategy
- Build & maintain effective relationships with key markets, portfolio boards, regional counter parts & global contacts
- Leads portfolio/battle/brand 5 year planning in line with the business planning cycle
- Relevant business degree / qualification.
- You are an innovative and inspirational Marketing Leader who is highly experience across all marketing disciplines (strategy, customer insights, consumer and brand drivers), and demonstrate strong commercial and business acumen within a large, multi-national company of a like nature.
- Demonstrate exceptional capability in marketing strategy design, development and execution with a proven successful track record driving high business growth.
- Proven ability to use customer insights to influence and drive decisions that lead to superior customer experience
