Job Description
This is a full-time permanent position with a minimum of 30 hours per week guaranteed. You will work on roster and is required to live onsite at the motel. Available to work on weekends is a must.
This job contains housekeeping
- and Onsite Manager Assistant-related duties as follows:
**Core responsibilities for housekeeper**:
Provide a high standard of cleaning, manage and present rooms and other areas to be desired by our guests;
Change and make beds in all accommodation types;
Empty waster baskets, recycling binds, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas
Maintain a high standard of guest satisfaction by being responsive to the requests
Wash, sort, and press clean linens, and store them in linen room
Inform the manager when rooms are ready for occupancy
Clean ablution blocks, showers, toilets, and kitchens as directed
Clean rooms and other work areas so that health standards and met
Keep storage areas and carts well stocked, clean and tidy
Observe all health and safety procedures
Be vigilant with the security and safety of all guests, staff, the building and surrounding areas
Any additional responsibilities related to the position as directed
Core responsibilities of Onsite Manager Assistant
Ensure the motel is well presented and secure
Assist to oversee the daily reservation, reception, and housekeeping activities in the absence of the manager
Provide high quality services to customers
Assist to deal with customers inquiries and complaints in the absence of the manager
Assist the manager to manage stock levels and place orders
Skills, experience and other requirements
Previous experience in housekeeping
A good eye for detail and reasonable level of fitness
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent time management skills
Ability to work flexible hours, evenings, weekends, rostered shifts and additional for
short notice cover as required
Mature, honest and good work ethics
Computer literacy with Microsoft Office suite
Able to be trained in operating the booking system.
