**About the role**

We have an opportunity to join our HR team of 8 people, the position is to support day-to-day tasks of recruitment and our HR Advisors.

Reporting to the HR manager your focus will mostly be:

- Advert Writing
- LinkedIn searching
- Organising Interviews
- Improving the recruitment process and customer service

Recruitment is essential to the success of Gisborne District Council deliverables for Community.

You will recognise the importance of the role as a Treaty partner and understand how that underpins Gisborne District Council’s work.

**Skills & experience**
- Exceptional written and proofing skills.
- Social media attraction focus
- A community and service focus
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Have great attention to detail
- Good systems experience
