We are seeking a Group Fitness Instructor to undertake Aquatic fitness classes on a contract basis.

As an Aquatic Group Fitness Instructor, you are required to develop and safely deliver aqua based fitness classes of 45 minutes in duration. Classes are held across 4 of our city-wide pools including Baywave, Mount Hot Pools, Greerton and Otumoetai pools. We offer Aqua-Fit, Aqua-Blast and Aqua-Deep classes, which are full body workouts with medium to high intensity. These dynamic classes cater for a wide range of age groups and abilities. The benefit of low impact exercise on joints due to the water weight bearing, alongside increasing movement resistance through the water.

Classes range in time from morning to midday and evenings, weekdays, and weekends, so flexibility around location in the city and time of day is available. These classes are in high demand city wide and waiting for a customer centric, energetic person to take them.

What skills will you have?
- Hold a certificate in Aqua Aerobics or a Certificate in Fitness Level 3 or 4
- Previous experience in the fitness/leisure/sports industry, including Aqua Fitness, Personal Training, and/or Group Fitness instruction.
- Proven ability to foster a positive, encouraging, and motivating environment for both customers and colleagues.
- Ensure the highest level of customer services and safety are achieved.
- Passion about health and fitness and energetic approach
- Must be set-up as a Contractor to pay your own tax & have individual insurance in place.

We are offering a per class rate of $45.00 - $50.00 (gross) as well as a free Clubfit gym membership and entry to our 5 aquatic facilities including Baywave Lap pool, Sauna & Spa and unlimited use of Mount Hot Pools.
