Venue Attendant

We are looking for an individual who can assist with a wide range of duties providing cover for annual leave and sick leave, as well as completing minor projects that arise across the business unit. There will be a mixture of weekday, weekend and evening shifts. Flexibility is essential as this is determined by business demands. In this role you will be responsible for assisting in the day to day operations of Mercury Baypark. Tasks will include undertaking general site maintenance, assisting in the set up/pack down of equipment for a wide range of different activities and events, assisting with event organisation, customer service tasks, undertaking minor projects relating to the sites, and cleaning of the venues and equipment as required.

To be successful you must:

- Demonstrate excellent communication skills with a high attention to detail;
- Be a committed team player, who is able to act in a proactive manner;
- Be physically fit as some heavy lifting is required;
- Have the ability to retain professional demeanor and think clearly when under pressure;Maintain a high standard of personal presentation;

Experience in recreation or working in or with community groups would be advantageous but is not necessary.
