Head of Architecture

Bring your leadership and commercial acumen in delivering projects to GHD This in an incredible opportunity for a motivated and engaging leader who will drive the delivery, strategic initiatives and business development for our **Architecture **group based in either **Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch.
Working closely with the Operations Manager Property and Buildings you will have the opportunity to combine your technical knowledge and people skills to take a lead role in developing our National business. You will manage and grow our existing contracts and relationships with private, local government and state sector clients. You will support and grow our people and the Building Services business. Business Development will also be a key part of the position.

**About your new role**:

- Lead the National Architecture Business Group performance, people, and resources.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients (internal and external).
- Work closely with Market Leaders to agree strong market sector alignment for the business plan.
- Provide support to the Operations Manager Property and Buildings and Finance Manager at month end with regard to invoicing and forecasting for Projects within the Business Group.
- Provide leadership to the Business Group in line with GHD's values and objectives.

**About you**:

- Minimum Bachelor's qualification in Architecture
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic focus
- Strong leadership skills and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated experience working in a team leadership position
- Ideally have experience working in a consultancy, and dynamic environment.
- Preferably recognised as a Registered Architect in NZ.
