The hours and days for this Bakery Manager position are:
Sunday-Thursday 0500-1430

At Countdown no two days are the same but in this role, you could expect to:

- Ensure a great level of service for our bakery customers
- Train and develop staff in your Department (including Bakers & Apprentices)
- Sales planning, rostering, merchandising and ordering of stock
- Champion Occupational Health and Safety and Food Safety practices to ensure a safe working environment for customers, staff and contractors

In our next Bakery Manager we are looking for:

- Previous baking experience as well as ordering, stocktake and rostering systems
- Previous people leadership experience in a Bakery environment
- A strong customer focus and excellent communication skills
- The ability to train and motivate a team
