**Full-Time Bakers Wanted - Two or More Positions Available**

We are two busy bakery cafés located in Taupō and are currently seeking two or more full-time Bakers to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced bakers or those with relevant qualifications to showcase their skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

**About the Role**

We are looking for dedicated individuals with at least 3 years of professional baking experience or a relevant Level 4 qualification. You should be confident in baking pies, pastries, breads, cakes, and desserts—and be able to prepare pastry and fillings independently without supervision.

You will be expected to work unsupervised and manage bakery production from start to finish.

**Hours and Pay**
Work schedule: Between 4:00 PM and 12:00 AM midnight, 7 days a week on a rotating roster
Minimum 30 hours to a maximum of 40 hours per week
Pay rate: $25 to $35 per hour, depending on experience and skill level

**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare and bake a wide variety of baked goods including pastries, cakes, pies, and breads
- Make pastry and fillings from scratch
- Inspect and clean baking equipment and ensure food safety compliance
- Measure and mix ingredients accurately
- Operate baking machinery and monitor baking times and temperatures
- Decorate baked goods with icing and glazes
- Maintain cleanliness and stock levels in the bakery
- Perform basic machinery maintenance and end-of-day clean-up

**Requirements**:

- A relevant Level 4 baking qualification or at least 3 years of hands-on experience in a commercial bakery, bakery school, café, restaurant, or hotel
- Ability to work unsupervised in a sole-charge role
- A clean criminal record and ability to pass a drug test
- Must have NZ residency, citizenship, or a valid NZ work visa
