The Department of Conservation Te Papa Atawhai (DOC) is seeking a Web Communications Advisor to be part of our transformative digital journey.

As a Web Communications Advisor, you will play a crucial role in communicating our conservation work through our website, inspiring others to value and care for our country's unique natural spaces and species.

He angitūtanga | About the role
Working within our supportive and creative web team, you will collaborate with like-minded professionals in digital, brand, marketing, content, and video to shape the online presence of DOC. You will contribute to the success of the DOC website as a powerful communications channel.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- editing and maintaining web content and creating new web pages
- editing and adding images and documents
- collaborating in a user-focussed team to make improvements to the website
- running and analysing analytics reports
- monitoring a busy mailbox.

**To make an impact in this role, you should have**:

- web communications experience with skills in editing and managing content
- a knack for learning new digital tools
- a keen eye for detail
- problem-solving and analytical skills
- ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines with ease
- familiarity with web accessibility standards and usability best practices is an advantage.

The salary range for this position is $66,535 - $83,906 with the starting salary of the successful applicant being based on their relevant skills and experience.
Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory - this includes holding a valid work visa that covers the whole period of employment.
